Persistent leaks rot roof trusses

There's no need to panic, WickRight fixes buildings everyday with various levels of truss, joist and TJI damage. However, please keep in mind, that the longer you wait to fix the problem, the more serious the problem becomes.

If you have persistent leaking, take action now to evaluate the current damage to your building. Consider having Bob Kelly perform a Building Evaluation to determine the current state of your building and roof. Depending on what Bob finds, a preliminary roof investigation may be recommended. Soft spots or areas that "give, bounce or crunch" when walked on along a roof's perimeter can indicate rotting plywood roof sheathing and possible truss issues.

Roof investigations may include Bob and one of our veteran roofers cutting small holes in the roof where issues seem likely, documenting any damage found with pictures, taking roof core samples and resealing the roof to protect against any additional moisture intrusion.

WickRight will find and fix the source of the moisture intrusion, as well as any structural damage that has occurred.

If there is extensive damage to the structural integrity of the building, we will provide a repair staging plan to help you budget for necessary repairs and save for repairs that can be delayed without causing further damage.
